WE were lucky to see players at the devils like,cronk,geyer ,slater , inglis,king etc,it was great to see them develope at a young age.There dollar value was far less when they left Norths. The rest is unfortunate history.

• RickyRicardo : Tends to be more club based, so they try to pick quieter areas to sit back and ponder the season. Some last a week, others a month tops, but generally around the 2 week mark.

• RickyRicardo : Well not all teams do it, but it kind of provides teams with the chance to have fun, and a chance to unwind and reflect on the season. Generally local areas, around their respective states. Places they're comfortable with.

• RickyRicardo : Not too sure Pommie. We'll know more in the off-season, upon completion of the GF that is, as lot of teams are on or about to have their end of season trips.

• RickyRicardo : Well with the purchases they made, they certainly had a strong side. THere's a lot of positives to take away from the season though, so they will look to build on them all.

• RickyRicardo : I'd probably say the main thing was inconsistency though. They just never seemed to be able to maintain a solid performance over the course of several weeks, and it cost them. Ultimately, as the injuries piled up, they fought brilliantly, but they really missed John Sutton at those crucial times.

• RickyRicardo : I can see where you're coming from, but I guess at the end of the day, if a player commits a sending-off offence, then he has to liable for his actions, and so deservedly, they HAVE to be sent off. I guess in some ways, it can actually make the game more interesting as the players have to dig deeper to try and come out with the win, or at the very least, hold onto the win through strong defence.

• Guest_2964 : I think the game is constrain from sending players off because of TV ratings.People turn off if teams are disadvantage by being 1 player short and the game gets lopsided.One way they can help this situation is if the player warrants sending off , do it ,double the penalty for it so the player is disadvantaged and not the whole team ,BUT allowa player on the bench to fill that spot and maybe take 3 exchanges off the offending team. This way the team and the fans are not subjected to an unfair gam

It tends to only have total metres a player has made for the season, rather than a collective average over the course of the season. Then again, the average would be relatively easy to work out.
