• KING WALLY : wow i missed the footy last night and i am really peeved! i had to get up for work this morning (4.15 am) and later on in the day i heard that it was a ripper of a game, apparently real nail biting stuff, we were lucky to come away with the win. its close games like that, i really enjoy watching, like origin is, but unfortunately i missed it. go aussies, one more close game like that and we just might be in for a chance for the trophy.

• Jess. : the boys in the indigenous curtain raiser team have amazing talent and i'm a huge fan of them, but a question to you all; arent they a part of our country and our team. they are equal to all of us and i should see no difference to the maori team. it was a fantastic curtain raiser and if they feel strongly enough then yes, they should be allowed to play in the world cup
• Jess. : Peter, contrary to the belief of white australia in the 1700's-1990's i believe indigenous people are just a part of todays australia as us whiteys. They have been stacked up against everyone elses ability and some have been chosen in the australian team. they are a valuble piece of australian culture and society and i hope you do not feel otherwise

• Jonesy_Jameson : True, but the footy show hams it up to give us Leagueys a bit of a laugh on the side. The Sunday Roast gives us more insight about the game, in a half an hour, than what the footy show does in a hour and a half. It covers the lighter side of Rugby League, dontcha think? I don't disagree with anyone, it's just how I see it.

I watch it hoping 2 hear some discussion regarding the footy, but they talk about everything else except footy???

• Jess. : i dont know the rules of the 80's since i wasnt alive haha, but i have seen DVDS and such of games. its going to be hard to keep up. so many have changed teams now, and the rules have changed constantly
• KING WALLY : yes its faster, but no one knows whats going on, they change the rules every year, how are the refs meant to do a good job, its like being a kicker and moving the posts all the time.
• KING WALLY : its shows like the footy show that keep trying to change the rules of the game, there was nothing wrong with the old rules of the 80s, now look at the shambles they call rugby league, it has definately changed for the worse.
