In the early hours of this morning, Parramatta Eel Jarryd Hayne and two team mates (Weller Hauraki and Junior Paulo) were allegedly shot at by an unknown man in Kings Cross.

Estimates put the incident happening just after 4am this morning and from all accounts, Jarryd Hayne is reported to be obviously quite shaken by the incident after several of the Eels team had attended the cricket earlier in the day, with many heading home at around midnight. A single shot was fired in the direction of the Eels players and they quickly fled the scene and reported the events to Kings Cross Police.

This latest situation thrusts NRL players into a new and dangerous light, with not only their profiles but now their lives at risk.

More news is expected on the Jarryd Hayne situation as it comes to hand.
