Runaway NRL and Bulldogs man Sonny Bill Williams is expected to tell his side of the story tomorro on Channel Nine’s Footy Show.
Williams will be interviewed by Danny Wiedler, who has been in Toulon, France. Wiedler has been seen with both SBW and his player manage Khoder Nasser according to reports and the interview should draw a large audience to the struggling Channel 9 Footy Show.
Williams is expected to reveal why he walked out on the Bulldogs, with Channel Nine beating up the even saying “a number of bombshells will be delivered†in the interview.
Many are skeptical of the interview however, as it’s widely believed Danny Wiedler has fallen out with the Bulldogs in recent times and is a strong Sonny Bill Williams supporter. The prominent Wiedler is able to gain many of his interviews by taking the NRL players side in escalated situations and the public rarely receive a ‘true journalistic’ interview covering both sides.
Unlike a Phil Gould or Andrew Voss style interview, its expected Danny Wiedler will simply allow Sonny Bill Williams to voice his own opinion without being asked the tough questions.
The Footy Show airs on Channel 9 at 9.30 Thursday nights.
