Manly saviour Brett Stewart bagged two tries, again helping his team to a 24-8 NRL win against the South Sydney side at ANZ Stadium last night.

For the talented fullback, it’s his 5th try in only 2 games for 2009. The back to back wins coming with Stewart back in the side, helping confidence levels to those of last year – with Manly beginning their run up the NRL Ladder.

For Souths, it’s their second consecutive loss and they will need to arrest the slide or they’ll undo their good early season work.

For Stewart, it’s 13 tries in his last 8 games against the Bunnies.

Also getting in on the action was Manly centre Jamie Lyon, grabbing himself a double and kicking four goals for the Sea Eagles.
