Titans slay young Broncos 52-0

A more experienced Titans side has put a young Broncos outfit to the sword earlier today, winning 52-0 as new signing and former Storm rising star Joseph Tomane scoring 12 points.

Titans custodian Shannon Walker also had a hot night, with some dynamic runs and a swag of points.

Former Rooster Riley Brown lined up for his new side the Titans and was able to score on debut, the experienced forward could be a handy pickup for the Gold Coast who have a star studded lineup in 2010.

It was 24-0 at halftime, with the Titans doing it in cruise mode.

Broncos big men Ben Te’o and Josh McGuire did manage some bone rattling defence, but that was all they and the Brisbane side had to crow about. It was the Titans’ forwards night as they dominated the battle of the bookends and allowed their backs to put on a show.

Former NZ Warrior Clinton Toopi got his chance to play for a Titans contract, but wasn’t at his best. Several dropped balls had the centre struggling to impress.
