• Samp : The broncs after this week will have Cowboys,Eels,Kni ghts,Warriors and Raiders with 3 games away. A gruelling task ahead KW. Against the Big RED V is the mental test of how they will go from now on.
• Samp : HD. Unfortuntely a draw will; not help the Broncs. They will have to play finals football to make the top 4 and host a game in the finals $$$$$.

• KING WALLY : now im not saying that game was fixed, because it wasnt. a lot of calls went against roosters. but in some cases, like penrith -dragons game a few weeks back. panthers were paying $3.50 for a win. dragons "just happened" to get pulled up for 2 tries, for a forward pass, that would have won the game. not a forward pass to be seen. not even close.
• KING WALLY : i listen to a fair bit of footy on the radio on weekends, as i dont have fox. the other night when bris played roosters as soon as bris scored syd were paying $5.50 for a win.
• KING WALLY : hey manu and 122, i do agree that there is some dodgy things going on as far as refereeing decisions go and games being fixed, but i dont think its is to make brisbane, or any other team make the finals. there are disgraceful decisions in a lot of games. it happens to every team. i think it has a lot to do with sportsbet. betting on the run.

• Samp : Aren't forward passes from dummy halves being poilced? There have been so many that have been missed. And the correct play the ball with the foot.

• RickyRicardo : In all fairness 122, I was at that game and the Cowboys got a lot more leeway with some of the calls. Two of the Cows tries came off a forward pass, and Thurston and Watts through a lot of forward passes out of dummy half and first receiver.

Any decision that the NRL makes, directly affects News Limited, and anything that happens in general directly affects them as well. If anything, it's not the NRL that's pushing an agenda, it's News Limited that is pushing the agenda for the Broncos to make it as far as possible.
• Manu Feltersnatch : And while Im on points difference, thats what will decide if your team sees finals or not. This year is a total joke and I wont be remembering who won 2010. How can the league be fair when some teams have had to play Storm twice and subsequently effecting whether they get 2 points and the for and against ratio. Some teams play the bottom 8 twice some the top 8 twice. And how many games this year has the wariors had to play on a monday nite.The refs, the draw and Monday nites its a total sham.

But then the Dragons have kept the scores down to a bare minimum ie 35 points over their last 3 games so next weekend again really could be anyones HD.

• Samp : 122 the way I saw last night's game was that the Roosters got very fast play the ball and that gave them over the ad line and the roll on. Penalty counts does not necessary mean points. it depends where the penalty is given. There are lopsided penalty counts in a lot of games.
• Samp : Hi All we must remember that years back we were able to see about 3 games only on tele. Now we see all and slow mo replays. Refs calls are more under the microscope now than ever before. There were calls before all this tele that we would never see. But they need to get the video ref calls right.

• KING WALLY : i agree with you to an extent 122, i do think that in some games they are fixed, not all, but some. for eg, dragons V penrith a few weeks back, dragons should have won the game, but were denied 2 tries that were pulled up for forward passes that were nowhere near forward, both teams were clear of the pack on points and both sides were depleted. refs dont see forward passes when they are forward. and, the panthers were paying $3.80 for a win.

I think you can only have a proper true champion winner if it wins on neutral or oppositions ground. Home ground is an advantage and thus creates a winning atmosphere for the home side.
• KING WALLY : so a neatral ground for say bris, if they were to play the tigers, instead of leichardt they go to toyota park, evryone will support tigers.
