As the Storm prepare to face the Sea Eagles in this coming Round of the NRL, the smart marketing minds down in Melbourne have taken a cheeky swipe at Manly’s inability to handle TV cameras in there dressing rooms.
It seems apparently the Storm players feel the same way, check out their video below: (Just click the link to be taken to the Storm website)
The Storm host the Sea Eagles on Monday Night Football. This is shaping to be a good game, the Storm smarting from their first loss of the season and the Eagles building a little bit of a form after burning the hapless Cronulla Sharks last weekend.
For Manly, their young halves Hodkinson and Foran are improving with every game. Their potential was widely known, but few predicted they could be so good so early in the season.
But facing the experience and talent, the likes of Smith, Inglis, Slater and Finch is no easy task.
In the past, Manly have tried to get physical with the Melbourne forwards – but were rarely able to succeed. This might be the time to try it again, with the Storm forward pack a much different one from years ago. No Dallas Johnson, Sika Manu or Jeremy Smith.
You’d still have to tip the Storm at home and possibly with a big crowd at Etihad Stadium – however, if Manly through the likes of Josh Perry and Anthony Watmough can rough it up – it might open the doors for a good roll, with Ballin sprinting out of dummy half and getting room for the young halves to do their thing.
It should be a good game this one –
