Shane Richardson, Souths CEO is over the moon that his club have managed to sign the gun centre.
“Greg is one of the game’s best players and to have him coming to our Club is something that our Members and Corporate Partners should be very excited about,†Mr Richardson said.
“We’re looking forward to having Greg as part of our Club for the next three seasons and we welcome him to the Rabbitohs family.â€
Despite Richardson’s assurances, many think that Inglis is far too heavy to be the threat he once was, as well as his lazy and lackadaisical attitude on the field.
Inglis himself is thrilled at the chance to play for the Bunnies. This comes despite the fact that he turned his back on and betrayed the Broncos who were initially the favourites for his signature.
“I’m really happy to be joining the South Sydney Rabbitohs,†Inglis said.
“The past few months have been like a rollercoaster ride but now I can look forward to getting back into training and preparing for the new season.
“This is an exciting time and I’m looking forward to pulling on the red and green jersey for the first time next year.â€
