Gibbs, who has played Origin, has been one of the more consistent performers for the Tigers under Tim Sheens, and he will be looking to continue that consistency for the duration of his contract.
“I wanted to stay with Wests Tigers and this new contract means I can be a Tiger for life,” said Gibbs, who got married in Fiji in the off-season.
“It’s a great club to be a part of and I just hope I can contribute to the team’s success in the future.”
Stephen Humphreys, the Wests Tigers Chief Executive believes that Gibbs’s contract extension was well deserved.
“Bryce has played his part in helping this developing team become more and more successful,” Humphreys said.
“It’s extremely satisfying for the club to see a product of our development system become an integral member of our NRL squad. I’m sure he has some exciting years to come.”
