With as many as 10 players off-contract at the end of 2011, the Cronulla Sharks will have room to move in the transfer market come the 2012 pre-season, and former Shark Issac De Gois is a target for the club.

The hooker is high on the Sharks wishlist, as they attempt to lure their former star back to the club where he made a name for himself.

Daryl Mather, De Gois’s manager, said that there was a strong chance that that De Gois could return to his former club in 2012.

”Isaac is off contract and he really enjoyed his time at the Sharks – he had a whale of a time,” Mather said.

”He grew up in Liverpool, was able to remain living there when he played for the Sharks and he’s very fond of the club and the area.

”In saying that, he’s been very happy at the Knights – but it was the Sharks who gave him his real start in first grade and you would never say never.’
