In a boost for Dragons fans, boom utility Kyle Stanley has signed a 3 year extension to his current deal, tying him to the club until the end of the 2014 season.

Stanley, who was a key player in the Dragons U20’s side for the last few years, made his debut for the Dragons first-grade side in Rd 11 of 2010, and has played in 10 games since then.

“As a local junior from the St George area growing up playing with Hurstville United, I’ve always wanted to continue my career at the Dragons,” said Stanley.

“My last two years under Wayne Bennett have been very beneficial and I’m looking forward to continuing my development under Steve Price who will be the Head Coach of the Dragons from 2012.”

Peter Doust, Dragons CEO is pleased with the re-signing of the talented utility, and is confident he will play a key role in the future for the Dragons.

“I’m very happy to complete the negotiations with Kyle as he is proving himself to be a very valuable member of our team and Club culture,” said Doust.

“Kyle is a talented local junior who will certainly form a very important part of our team’s structure moving forward.”
