The Warriors have confirmed Kevin Locke is the rugby league player being investigated for a sexual assault complaint.
Locke strenuously denies the allegation but his lawyer, John Haigh QC, says Locke wanted his name to be published to avoid speculation.
The Warriors will not be making any further comment.
Locke is on the bench for tomorrow night’s NRL match against Roosters in Auckland.
