Hala, who only recently re-signed with the Broncos for 2 seasons, will undergo scans to confirm the injury’s severity, with Broncos coach Anthony Griffin expecting some unfortunate bad news.
“It does not look good,” Griffin said.
“He went to accelerate and his leg buckled underneath him. I thought he had done his knee and that his season was over.
“He will still be some time out of the game, probably six to eight weeks. It’s a shame – he’s in the best condition he has ever been.”
