They are moving forward under the direction of Gus Gould, and the re-signings of both centre Brad Tighe and halfback Luke Walsh are a part of that – with both players extending their contracts for a further three seasons with the Panthers.

In an added boost for the Panthers club, they have joined forces with Cudo for twelve months, who will be the Panthers sleeve sponsor for 2012.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with a club that gives so much back to the community.”

Having been at the Panthers since 2009, Walsh was eager to re-sign a contract, that would see him remain in the mountains.

“It’s great Ivan and the coaching staff have shown such confidence in me. I can’t wait to repay them on the field.”

Tighe has also been with the Panthers for a few years, having joined the club in 2008, and is eager to undergo training in the development and education of indigenous kids.

“I’m thankful the Panthers have given me a chance to work on a career that I’m extremely passionate about.”
