The Sharks have found their new major sponsor, albeit only for the remainder of the 2012 NRL season – with the logo of Fisherman’s Friend to appear on the front of the Sharks jersey.
Sharks Chairman Daniel Irvine was pleased that the club had found a sponsor, and expressed his appreciation and confidence in Fisherman’s Friend MD Garry Browne, about, in forming their special partnership.
Although at this stage, the sponsorship deal only runs until the end of the 2012 season, Browne was confident that things could progress further, and be a long-term proposition.
The logo will appear on both the front of the Sharks jersey, as well as on their sleeve, as they brace themselves for the local derby against the St George Illawarra Dragons.
