He may not have played a huge role in the game itself, but for Broncos debutant Luke Capewell – that did not matter one iota, as he was just pleased to have had a crack in a Broncos jersey.
Capewell, who grew up in Charleville, before playing for South Sydney and the Gold Coast – was pleased to have made his debut for the Broncos, and he is keen for more action in first-grade with the club.
“I am just pretty happy to be out there – I really enjoyed it and hopefully there is more of it,” Capewell told Bronco TV.
“Playing in that maroon and yellow jersey was wonderful and we will see what happens in the future.
“Suncorp Stadium was an eye opener for me and a good experience.”
