A few teams were sniffing around to secure his services, but young Cronulla utility Wade Graham has made the decision to stay with the Shire based club – a decision that will see remain at the club until the end of the 2014 NRL season.
Graham, who play at lock, five-eighth, the second-row, and in the centres, is pleased to have his future sorted and his contract extended at the Sharks.
“I’m very happy with the decision I’ve made and happy to have settled my future for the next few years with the Sharks,” Graham said.
“The club is moving in a positive direction and I’m looking forward to being a part of that.”
Sharks coach Shane Flanagan was also pleased to have re-signed the talented youngster, who sees him as an integral part of the side for the future.
“Wade is a very important part of our team here at the Sharks. He has made a position switch to the back row this year and is doing a great job there, but he has that utility value, where he can play lock, second row, five eight or even in the centres, which makes him a vital part of our squad,” Flanagan said.
