It will be his third club in the space of a year, but for Richie Fa’aoso, that will not matter – with the Manly Sea Eagles agreeing to a 2-year deal with the club, starting in the 2013 season.
Fa’aoso, who was a mid-season transfer to the Melbourne Storm from the Newcastle Knights, says that he is looking forward to playing for Manly, and making the Northern Beaches his home.
“I’m honoured that such a great club as Manly has given me an opportunity to continue my NRL career,†Fa’aoso said.
“I’m looking forward to the challenge of establishing myself within such a strong team.â€
Manly’s coach Geoff Toovey is looking forward to seeing Fa’aoso in the Maroon & White, and thinks the former Knights and current Storm prop, will be a handy addition to the side’s forward pack.
“Richie will be a strong addition to the team next year and provide some extra depth for us,†Toovey said.
“He’s a talented footballer with great impact and we’re excited to have him onboard.â€
