His name has been thrown into the ring to coach the Roosters, the Dragons, and now the Warriors – but for current Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy, who is contracted to the Storm until the end of the 2013 season, said he has no plans to discuss anything contract related, until the end of the year.
Since sacking coach Brian McClennan, speculation has been rife that Bellamy will head to the Warriors to coach them – but for Bellamy himself, he says that he has no intention to discuss contracts with any club, until the end of the season.
“I didn’t know until this morning I was going to earn all this money if I go over the ditch,” Bellamy said on Friday.
“I’ve never broken a contract before and don’t intend to start.
“It’s not an issue; I’ve made it pretty clear I’ve got another year to coach here and I won’t be making any decisions on my future until at least the end of the year.”
