Talented half re-signs with Bradford

Luke Gale

He was already contracted for 1 more year with the club, but in a sign of confidence for both club and player – talented Bradford Bulls half Luke Gale has re-signed until the end of the 2015 season.

Gale, who joined from Harlequins at the start of last season, made an immediate impact, scoring 143 points despite missing 10 games – with new coach Francis Cummins excited to have retained the services of Gale.

“There were some supporting artists during 2012 but Galey was very much the heartbeat of the team.

“Along with the young lads, he will form the backbone of the team we’ve got going forward.”

Gale, who was eager to sign a new deal, looks forward to the years ahead at Bradford.

“It’s brilliant to put pen to paper and sign a long-term deal.

“I spoke to Franny Cummins and he is really positive about next year. His ideas sound brilliant and I’m really looking forward to getting on board with him.”
