There was recently conjecture over the long-term future of Eels home games, but such thoughts can be cast aside – as the Pirtek Parramatta Eels agree to a new 5-year deal with Venues NSW and Parramatta Stadium, to keep the majority of their home games at Parramatta Stadium.

With the Stadium regarded as the Eels spiritual home, given the history behind it, Eels CEO Ken Edwards re-iterated these feelings, saying it was a win for the club to have the majority of home games played there, for the next 5 years.

“This is an important part of our strategy, is to lock in the spiritual home of the Eels, Parramatta Stadium, for the next 5 years,” said Edwards.

“It gives us a really rock-solid base on which to build our future, to develop our cauldron.”
