He might not be a household name, but age is on his side – with Leeds Rhinos prop Brad Singleton to join the Wakefield Wildcats on a 2-month loan deal.
The 20-year old, who has made two appearances for Leeds in 2 years, as well as playing in nine games for the Dewsbury Rams last year, to gain first-grade experience.
After finishing his first training session with his new club, Singleton is enjoying himself so far, and looks forward to what is to come.
“I've really enjoyed my first day and I think it's a very good club from what I've seen so far,” said Singleton.
“I need to be playing Super League because that's the next step of my career. I feel I'm ready and it's what I need to do for my own career to progress.”
For Wildcats coach Richard Agar, he felt the club needed to add one more prop to their squad, with Singleton fitting that bill.
“We needed to bring in one more prop to add some depth to that area of our squad and we are happy we have been able to bring in Brad,” said Agar.
“He is a young lad with a very bright future and he will certainly bring competition for places and will complement our pack.”
