When you have been playing with or involved with a club since the age of 14, resulting in being a part of their organisation for 8 years, you feel a sense of emotional attachment to the club – and for Salford City Reds utility back Marc Sneyd, that is exactly how he feels.
Signing a new 2-year deal with the club that he has been at for most of his career, one until the end of the 2015 season, the 22-year old Sneyd is pleased to have extended his stay at the club.
He becomes the third player behind captain Martin Gleeson and Australian prop Shannon McPherson, to re-sign with the club since Brian Noble took over.
“I’m really pleased to have signed this extended deal,” Sneyd said.
“I have been at Salford a long time now and I want to be here while all this exciting stuff is going on.
“I want to be here when this team is hopefully reaching the play-offs every year and winning trophies.”
