Tom Olbison

Talented players are easy to spot and if you ask Bradford, young forward Tom Olbison is an example of that, with the 22-year old extending his current deal for a further 2 years, until the end of the 2015 Super League season.

Olbison, who is a product of the club’s scholarship scheme, made his debut back in 2009 and is excited to remain at the Provident Stadium and is also excited to stay at the club for the long-term, a sign that he is a part of their future.

“I take it as a big compliment because I wasn’t up for renewal and this is a big confidence boost because it shows the club want me here,” said Olbison.

“I was emily deschanel pokies more than happy to take it because it gives me some added security.”

Having started the year well before being struck down by injury, Olbison was then dropped but the coaching staff believed he had shown enough to warrant an extension to his deal.

“This is a massive thing for the club and I really do rate Tom highly,” said Bradford Bulls coach Francis Cummins.

“He played very well at the start of the year but then had a bit of an injury and form can sometimes go when that happens.

“But he’s shown enough this year to warrant a new deal and, having come through the ranks, he’s definitely got a love for the club and has great potential.”
