He might currently be injured but remains a big part of the Wests Tigers forward pack, with fan favourite Keith Galloway re-signing with the club for a further three years.
The deal, which will run until the end of the 2016 NRL season, follows on from the Tigers announcement earlier in the week that Martin Taupau would be joining their forward ranks for 2013 and beyond.
Galloway, 27, has represented Australia five times and has represented NSW and City Origin and whilst currently injured, that did not dampen from Mick Potter’s high praise of the redhead.
â€œKeith has been sorely missed while injured and we are looking forward to having him back on the field in the near future,â€ Coach Mick Potter said.
â€œTo have that commitment for the long term really adds some stability to our front row.
â€œKeith consistently makes the online blackjack flash most metres which gives the team that much need go forward.
â€œHe definitely has a presence on the field, being a big man he stops people on contact.
â€œKeith really lifts the people around him when he plays.â€
Just as excited is Galloway himself, who is looking forward to getting back on the field in a few weeks.
â€œI am really excited about re-signing, we have a great group of players here with some exciting youngsters coming through the ranks,â€ Galloway said.
â€œI am into my seventh season at the Wests Tigers, by the end of the contract I will be in my tenth season and Iâ€™m proud to be a part of such a great Club.
â€œI have been working really hard in rehab and hope to be back ahead of schedule to help the team in the remainder of the season.â€
