It has been mass re-signings at the New Zealand Warriors of late and that has continued today, with 5 players re-signing with the club.

Sione Lousi, Pita Godinet, Charlie Gubb and Suaia Matagi have re-signed until the end of 2014, with Sam Lousi re-signing until the end of 2015.

The quintet, viewed as young, valuable assets to the Warriors side have all made their first grade debuts bar Charlie Gubb, who has been 18th man in NRL games before.

With young players the future of the club, Warriors coach Matt Elliott is not only excited to have retained the quintet, but is excited to see what they can do.

“They all prepared really well for the season and are perfect examples of the way we want to see players emerging and growing through our system,” he said.

“Pita has done a terrific job for us this year, Suaia has Cialis Online really earned his shot in the NRL and Charlie is pushing hard for his chance.

“It’s been a tough year for Sione and Sam. Sam is only just back from injury and Sione is in rehab after knee surgery but they’re both fantastic prospects.”

It makes a total of 10 re-signings over the last week or so, after several boom NYC youngsters re-signed, with depth and competition for spots imperative for the Warriors, according to Warriors General Manager of Football Operations, Dean Bell.

“The five NRL signings announced today and the extensions for the five young players three weeks ago are all critical to building depth and competition in our NRL squad,” said Vodafone Warriors general manager football operations Dean Bell.
