Talented Sharks back-rower heads West to Penrith

Cronulla Sharks fans are bitterly disappointed that he has been let go, but the decision is now made, as talented back-rower Tyrone Peachey, highly rated by many Sharks fans, has signed a 2-year deal with the Penrith Panthers starting in 2014.

Making his debut for the Sharks this year, the 21-year old came up through the Sharks junior ranks but is excited at the opportunity to join the Panthers.

“I’m really excited to be coming to Penrith, and I appreciate the club taking an interest in me and my playing future.,” said Peachey.

Phil Moss, the Panthers General Manager of Rugby League, believes Peachey will be a great signing for them, due to his versatility first and foremost.

“Tyrone is going to be a great asset to the club. His versatility on the field will bring an added spark to the side, and I’m sure our fans will find him exciting to watch,” said Moss.
