Dragons get their man as Raiders half heads North

It was a long time coming and there was a lot of speculation as to whether the move would eventuate but it finally has, with Canberra Raiders half Sam Williams signing with the St George Illawarra Dragons for the 2014 NRL season.

Williams, who hails from Cooma, has played in 40 first-grade games to date and is likely to add to that tally in 2014, as it looks like will 2 piece manually operated electronic cigarettes play alongside another new recruit for the Dragons, Gareth Widdop.

Selected as the Rookie of the Year in 2011 at the Canberra Raiders, he was also picked in both the NSW Country and NSW Cup representative sides this year.

Just 22, the deal will bring about a fresh start for Williams, with the option for a second year at the club available.

He will join the Dragons in November.
