Clubs sometimes part ways with players as they seek greener pastures and for New Zealand Warriors youngster Sio Siua Taukeiaho, the club and player agreed to mutually part ways, with the youngster wishing to pursue other opportunities.
Still only 21, Taukeiaho was initially off-contract at the end of next year and has been a part of the NRL squad at the Warriors for the last two years.
To date, he has played just the one game – one that came in the final game of the regular season this year.
Playing out most of the season with the Auckland Vulcans in the NSW Cup, the club wished Taukeiaho all the best with his future endeavours.
“We thank Siua for his efforts for the club and wish him all the best for the future,†said the Warriors General Manager of Football, Dean Bell.
