One of the in-form players of the competition at the minute, Penrith Panthers fans will be cheering until their voices are hoarse, with the re-signing of boom winger, Josh Mansour.
Mansour – nicknamed Man-Sauce – is a fan favourite at the club and is enjoying a stellar season so far, especially in attack.
With several clubs keen to sign the talented winger including the Canberra Raiders, Mansour opted to stay at the foot of the mountains, a place he knows well.
“Penrith is where my heart is, and it’s where I want my footy career to be right now,” said Mansour.
“We are playing some really good footy as a team and I am so lucky to be a part of that. Working under Ivan has been really good learning experience the last few years, and I feel like he brings out the best in meâ€.
For the man himself, the club have been amazing for both he and the club and that support is what he values and appreciates each week.
“Panthers members and fans have been amazing too. They have always been so supportive and they give me so much encouragement, and I want to thank them for cheering us on week in, week out. We wouldn’t be where we are this season without you behind usâ€.
The club are just as pleased to retain the talented winger and know just how good he can become over the next couple of seasons.
“Josh has been one of Panthers’ best performers this season and I am really happy that he is staying on at the club,” said Penrith Panthers General Manager, Phil Moss.
“He is playing some of the best footy of his career and I’m sure there is more to comeâ€.
