Player retention is crucial for any side and with the recent resurgence for the Penrith Panthers, shoring up their stocks is crucial.
That is why they have opted to re-sign prop Jeremy Latimore for the 2015 season.
Latimore may not be the flashiest prop in the eyes of many but he works hard and is an honest toiler, evidenced by his good form so far in 2014.
With previous stints at the New Zealand Warriors and Parramatta Eels, Latimore has found a home and for him, he is pleased to have his future sorted for another year.
“I’m really looking forward to playing another year with the Panthers,” said Latimore.
“I’m excited about the future and the direction the club is headed. We have a really good group of players at the moment, and our members and fans are so supportive, and I can’t wait to run out against the Titans this weekend and get the job done!â€
The club have also realised his consistency this season, a big reason behind the decision to re-sign him.
“He has been one of our most consistent players this season and we are really happy that he has agreed to stay on for the 2015 season,” said Penrith Panthers General Manager, Phil Moss.
“I’m confident we’ll continue to see good things from him in the future.â€
