One of the most destructive and potent centres in the game right now, Konrad Hurrell is a player that is going places and always getting better.
The New Zealand Warriors will get to see a lot more of him, with the centre re-signing at the club for a further three seasons until the end of 2018.
Still only 23, Hurrell is in his fifth season of rugby league and has already scored 37 tries in 57 games for the club.
Although he will not play this week due to injury, Hurrell is excited about his new deal and life at the Warriors.
“I’m so happy to be staying with the Vodafone Warriors,†said Hurrell.
“They brought me into rugby league and I’m so pleased I made the change. I’m having fun playing the game, trying to become a better player and being with the boys.
“This is the only club I want to be with. I love it here.â€
Hurrell plays a big role at the club, one that does not go unnoticed by the coaching staff nor head coach Andrew McFadden.
“Konrad has a huge role to play for us,†he said.
“We saw how much he developed his game last year and there’s still a lot of improvement in him. Koni has made a real impact in the NRL and we know there’s a lot more to come.â€
