Since he has been a part of the St George Illawarra Dragons, Jason Nightingale has been a fan favourite of many supporters over the years.
Dragons fan will have the opportunity to continue that support of Nightingale, with the talented Kiwi winger signing a new deal with the club.
The new deal runs for two years as the Kiwi international and the Renown United junior is pleased to stay at a club that means so much to him.
“I am really excited to stay for another two years, I would love to finish my career here at the Dragons as a one-club player and this contract goes a long way towards giving me that opportunity,†said Nightingale.
“I am really happy here at the Dragons and have to give a lot of credit to both my teammates and the Coaching Staff for the position and environment that we have here at the Club.”
As much as the fans love him, Nightingale also loves the fans and was quick to praise them for their continued support over the years.
“It is something that I want to continue to be a part of and I want to be a part of the future,” said Nightingale.
“I would also like to thank our loyal Red V Members and fanbase who have shown nothing but support over the years.”
Very few are displeased with the re-signing and Director of Recruitment and Retention Peter Mulholland made that clear. That all at the club are thrilled to have re-signed Nightingale.
“Everybody associated with the Dragons is pleased that we have been able to come to an arrangement that will see Jason remain for at least a further two seasons,†said Mulholland.
“Jason is an outstanding talent and leader within our Club who will continue to serve as an important part of our squad both now and in the future.â€
