Broncos Chief Executive extends stay with the club

Paul White

In recent times, he has had his personal battles with cancer but when it comes to the day-to-day running of the Brisbane Broncos, Paul White is an astute operator.

His work and effort has seen the club reward him with a three-year extension as club CEO, with White currently in his sixth year as Broncos CEO.

White drew praise from the club, especially from club Chairman Dennis Watt.

“Paul is one of the most dynamic sports administrators in the country and we are delighted he has agreed to continue leading the club for another three years,” said Watt.

“Paul’s commitment to the club, coming as it does after head coach Wayne Bennett has also agreed to stay on until the end of the 2019 season, leaves the Broncos in an exceptionally strong position.”

In recent times, the club have improved both on and off the field under the CEO tutelage of White, and Watt is confident that they can all work together to move into an even stronger era.

“We believe with the plans and appointment we now have in place, the club is poised to enter a new era of all-round success,” said Watt.
