A nifty, dynamic player, Kodi Nikorima has forged a reputation as a sort of super-sub off the Brisbane Broncos bench at times during 2016.
In a boost for the club, the utility has decided to re-sign with the club for a further two seasons and is excited to have done so.
“The good news is that I’ve decided to stick around for a further two years,” said Nikorima.
“It’s exciting news for me and my family. I’ve been with the club since I was 12 and obviously it’s been a hard decision to make.”
Deemed as a utility rather than a player that can hold down one spot consistently, those spots Nikorima is adept at are filled by other team-mates but he relishes the chance to keep them on their toes.
“Being named as the utility player off the bench, you learn to play other roles and not just at hooker,” added Nikorima.
“I’ll give every position a crack and it’s all about practice in pre-season.”
Currently out with a shoulder injury, Nikorima is focused on the 2017 campaign and what lies ahead for his future.
