He runs hard and hits hard and he will have a new club in 2017, with Nathan Brown to depart the South Sydney Rabbitohs and take up a two-year deal with the Parramatta Eels.
Brown, who has played a total of 29 NRL games across two teams – the Bunnies and the Wests Tigers – also has a City Origin appearance to his name.
With the Eels needing more impact and starch in their forwards as well as further depth, Eels coach Brad Arthur is excited to have the hard-running and hard-hitting forward pack at the club.
“Nathan had a breakthrough year in 2016 with selection in City Origin and was a strong performer in the back half of the season,†Arthur said.
“The good news for us is that Nathan’s best years as an NRL forward are ahead of him and I believe he can provide a strong contribution to the club in 2017 and beyond.”
