Greg Eastwood

One of the favourite players of the Canterbury Bulldogs faithful, Greg Eastwood has signed a new 2-year deal with the club.

The man nicknamed ‘the Beast’ has played 147 NRL games for the club over seven seasons and has represented the New Zealand Kiwis side on many occasions.

Excited at what his future holds, the club has a special spot in Eastwood’s heart and life.

“I’ve had an association with the Bulldogs for a long time now, it’s a place I think of as home and I’m happy to have locked in another two years here,” Eastwood said.

“We’ve got great stability in the playing group and together we can make a team that is very competitive every time we take the field.”
Eastwood is confident that side can make perform in 2017 and give the competition a shake.

“I think the Bulldogs can give this competition a real shake in 2017 and I’m looking forward to being a part of it,” Eastwood added.

The club is also pleased to retain him and know the value that he brings to the side.

“With his hard running and impressive skills, Greg has a real ability to break open a game,” said Bulldogs CEO, Raelene Castle.

“He’s an asset to our playing squad, a great family and provides a steadying influence around the club. We’re very pleased to have him on board for another two seasons.”
