An on-again and off-again fan favourite with the fans, whether they agree or not, the club have made a decision to re-sign winger Daniel Tupou for a further four years.
The new deal will see him remain with the Roosters until the end of the 2021 season with the club pleased to retain the high-flying winger.
“Daniel is a highly-valued contributor to our team,” said Roosters Head Coach, Trent Robinson.
“’Toups’ has an outstanding work ethic and holds himself accountable, and away from footy, he’s a great man and mentor to the younger members of our squad, so it’s great to know that he will continue to be part of our team for at least the next four years.”
As for Tupou himself, the chance to continue donning the Roosters jersey is a privilege for him.
“Every chance I get to represent the Roosters is a special one,” said Tupou.
“Robbo and the coaches have taught me so much and I’m proud to be part of the team here, so I’m stoked to extend with the Club,” he added.
