They only just re-signed Jarrod Wallace but the Gold Coast Titans have added Shannon Boyd to their roster.
The current Canberra Raiders forward has signed a four-year deal with the Titans commencing in 2019.
With 100 NRL games to his name and several Kangaroos appearances, the Titans believe Boyd will fit in well.
“Shannon has impressed me throughout the process and I believe he is a great acquisition for the club,” Brennan said.
“He is an imposing figure that will bring some much needed size to our pack.
“He has played 100 NRL games and has represented his country so he brings with him a fair amount of experience that will help a number of our young guys.”
A hard-running, big bopper, Brennan also believes that Boyd will add something else and mesh with the existing forwards well.
“He will complement the forwards we already have here so I’m pleased he has chosen to join us,” continued the Titans coach.
“I’m looking forward to him joining the club next year.”
