Since making his debut, Melbourne Storm back-rower Felise Kaufusi has come a long way.
Establishing himself as an elite back-rower, Kaufusi has a premiership to his name as well as Kangaroos appearances.
Kaufusi’s new deal will see him stay at the club until at least the end of the 2020 season.
There is an option available to extend that once the 2 years is up.
Debuting in 2015 for the Storm, Kaufusi has played in 73 NRL games to date.
The club are evidently pleased to retain him given how important he is to the club.
We are very happy to have re-signed Felise for a further two seasons, he is an important part of our retention strategy,” said the Storm’s Director of Football, Frank Ponissi.
“Felise has worked very hard to cement himself in the starting side, the challenge now for Felise and our next generation group of players is to continue to apply the same work ethic to help the Club strive for continued success.
“We are excited to have Felise, his wife Bek and daughter Atarah remain in Melbourne.”
