Gold Coast Titans utility back Dale Copley

After impressing new coach Garth Brennan, Dale Copley has signed a new 2-year deal with the Gold Coast Titans.

Playing in 30 games for the club to date since the 2017 season, Copley has scored 10 tries.

The Aspley junior is pleased to have his future sorted with the club.

“I said when I returned how much I loved being in south-east Queensland and being around family and friends,” he said.

“To be able to be surrounded by them and play NRL for a club on the rise is great.”

Copley believes that the club is on the rise and is excited at what lies ahead.

“I feel we’ve got a group of guys here who could do some great things in years to come,” he continued.

“Both on and off the field the club is heading in the right direction and it’s something I am pleased that I’ll be a part of for the next two years.”

Brennan has been a fan of Copley’s for a while and is pleased to see him stay.

“I’ve mentioned before that I was a fan of Dale’s from just watching him,” he said.

“Now that I’m coaching him, my view hasn’t changed.”

Reliability is a key factor in Brennan’s evaluation of Copley.

“He’s a strong and reliable centre who makes a great contribution on and off the field,” the Titans coach continued.

“It’s great that he’ll be here for the next two years as the club continues to build and move forward.”
