Given the chance to impress with numerous opportunities, Karl Lawton has taken them and thus, has signed a new deal with the New Zealand Warriors.
Moving over from the Gold Coast Titans last season, Lawton’s first opportunity took a while to come but he has since excelled.
To the point where he has been given the chance to start for the Warriors this week in a clash against Penrith.
After a recent spate of games, that was enough for the Warriors to offer the deal and they are pleased to have done so.
“We’re delighted to secure Karl for another two years,” said Vodafone Warriors general manager football Brian Smith.
“The coaching staff are really impressed with him on all levels on and off the field with the energy he brings to all he does.
“Karl had a delayed start to the season but he is certainly making up for it.”
