Brisbane Broncos utility Jake Turpin

Planning for the future, the Brisbane Broncos have re-signed talented utility Jake Turpin on a three-year deal.

The three-year deal includes options in the players’ favour for year two and year three.

With thirteen NRL games to his name, Turpin has impressed many and the new contract is just rewards for him.

With interest from elsewhere an ever looming threat, the Broncos were pleased to retain Turpin.

“We are very pleased to have locked Jake up as he had attracted plenty of interest from elsewhere,” said Broncos CEO Paul White.

“Jake has shown everyone the talent he has and the progression he has made this season.

“The Broncos are excited to sign him to this contract and look forward to watching him develop further in the coming years.”

With his future seemingly cemented, Turpin is looking forward to getting even better over the coming years.

“I am very happy to have signed this contract to stay with the Broncos,” he said.

“I am a Queenslander and this allows me to stay close to family and friends while playing for such a wonderful club.

“My aim now is to work hard over the next five weeks to ensure the team has its best shot at the NRL finals.”
