A fan favourite and a hulking forward, Sio Siua Taukeiaho will stick around with the Sydney Roosters a little bit longer.
The Tongan international has signed a 2-year extension, keeping him at the Roosters until the end of 2022.
Making his mark as a key forward for the club, Taukeiaho enjoys where he is at and the culture at the club.
“I love this club and it’s a big honour to be part of the team here at the Roosters,” said Taukeiaho.
“Robbo and the coaches have done a lot for me, and with all the staff, we’re like one big family so I’m very happy to extend my time here.”
With 110 NRL games to his name to date and only more to come, Roosters coach Trent Robinson is pleased to keep Taukeiaho around.
“Siua has worked really hard to get to where he is, and he is always looking at ways to be better,” said Robinson.
“He is developing into a strong leader and it’s really pleasing to have Siua locked in to our Club’s long-term plans,” he added.
