Sydney Roosters five-eighth Luke Keary

Back-to-back premierships, a focal point of the Sydney Roosters, Luke Keary will be at the Tricolours until 2024 after signing a new deal.

Coming into his own in the last several seasons, Keary has produced stupendous form to be a measure of consistency for the league.

Although currently injured, Keary was tracking along nicely and was behind the Roosters resurgence since the resumption post-COVID.

For Keary himself, the opportunity to stay at the club was too good to pass up.

“From the top down, there’s a really good group of people involved at the Roosters, and I’m excited to have my long-term future locked in here,” said Keary.

Roosters coach Trent Robinson praised Keary, who is now seen as one of the elite halves of the game.

“Luke is a leader and a student of the game who brings energy to everything he does,” said Robinson.

“He’s also a good person, so it’s great news that he will continue to play his important role here at the Roosters in the coming years.”

Keary has so far played in 148 NRL games, 85 of those with the Roosters.
