It'd be a great game to watch, but the NRL is stingy about the games that take place. They were reluctant to have the current All Stars v Aborigine side, but the Players Association and several corporate bosses at the NRL convinced them to get it started, and they did.
• wombat : understand the problems, i just think it would be great to see as a one off game each year, then the top players can still rep for Australia at international level.
• RickyRicardo : Guys like Greg Inglis, Jonathon Thurston, Justin Hodges, etc. would have to forfeit their spots in the Aussie side, to represent their heritage in the Aborigines. That's if they wanted to do so of course.
• RickyRicardo : Only problem with that, well the main problem the NRL would have is the fact that a lot of the players would overlap, and so in order for the Aborigine players to represent their pride and heritage, they'd have to forfeit their Australian spots for that game.

• RickyRicardo : Just ignore what anyone says about dude. A sponsor means money for the club, and the fans have to worry less about not having a sponsor. Just say, wait and see what the results will be.
• Chris : Yeah, i think they mean 1 try is 1 thousand. I have already gotten teased about having Steggles as our sponser not looking foward to tomorrow.
• RickyRicardo : That's what I'm not sure of. $1000 per point, is a quite a lot of money. I guess all will be confirmed for sure, once it gets closer to the start of the season.

• RickyRicardo : I don't think that's been released yet. At this stage, money wise, we only know that Steggles will give $1000 for all points scored if understood correctly?
• RickyRicardo : Actually I wasn't aware Steggles were in talks with them. I knew of a few others, namely a couple of phone/internet companies and a TV brand, but I actually didn't know they were talking with Steggles.

• RickyRicardo : Matt Rogers hasn't been offered a contract by the Titans for 2011. The interested parties include the Sea Eagles, the Sharks, the Panthers and the Eels.
• RickyRicardo : And the Cowboys have made the first move officially making an offer for Mason.
• RickyRicardo : Kemp will probably start on the wing I'd say. He was going to play in the centres, but Teo'o will be the second centre.

• RickyRicardo : And he probably isn't worth the same money. At least not right now. If he has a solid year, he might be worth that money again.

Because Mason still has time left on his current with the Roosters, if Mason was to sign with another club, the Roosters would pay out the majority of his contract for the duration of the time he was supposed to be there, meaning that the club that gets him only pays a very small portion of the amount. At least for this season that will be the case.
• RickyRicardo : I reckon the Cowboys have the edge at the moment. Mason loves the Nth Qld area for starters, and he has a couple of good mates up there, many of which are current players, so that could go on his favour.

• RickyRicardo : And I think Voss is what the footy show needed in some ways, but he can be slightly arrogant at times. The good thing that I noticed, at least in the episodes that I watched was that Voss didn't seem to take too many sides in regards to certain teams. He remained mostly level-headed and provided a balanced view. But that's just from what I saw.

Kennedy is much more composed and relaxed, whereas at least from what I have seen, Cordner can sometimes tend to rush plays or try to make a play that results in nothing.
