  1. Why is Channel ( (Melbourne) allowed to broadcast the finals at times when the majority of the population is asleep? If Ch 9 does not want to broadcast live into Melbourne then why can’t the Foxtell or Austar do the games live? According to my local TV guide tonight’s game (even with Melbourne playing) will be shown “live” at 12.15 a.m. tomorrow.
    As an ex resident of NSW, a keen football follower, I find it very frustrating since moving to Melbourne to miss out on watching the Friday night game and now the finals, live unless I stay up until midnight.
    Can something be done about this at least for next year?
