NSW State Of Origin 2009 Blues TeamThe NSW State of Origin selectors have taken a massive gamble for the 2009 series, throwing 8 new faces into the side and leaving out the likes of Michael Ennis and Anthony Laffranchi, two players that many felt just had to be there.

Terry Campese gets his shot in the halves and Knights flanker James McManus continues his rise to the top of the Rugby League ranks. Justin Poore was a surprise selection on the interchange bench and Panthers livewire Michael Jennings made himself a no-brainer selection after continued good form for his club side.
