The Melbourne Storm have a new staff member on board, after they announced this morning that they have appointed Paul Bunn, as the club’s new recruitment manager.
When it comes to recruitment, Bunn is an experienced campaigner, having been the Broncos football and recruitment manager for 14 years, as well as the recruitment manager of the now defunct South Queensland Crushers for 3 years.
Frank Ponissi, the Storm’s General Manager of Football Operations, says that the club is delighted to have Bunn on board in the role.
“We are very pleased to have been able to bring someone of Paul’s experience and knowledge to Melbourne Storm,” Ponissi said.
“Paul’s strategic planning ability contributed to the quality of players recruited to the Broncos’ NRL team and we look forward to that experience contributing to our club.”
Bunn will primarily keep a focus on the U20’s players, and liaise with Storm head coach Craig Bellamy, in identifying and recruiting star young players.
He will begin his role in Brisbane, before eventually relocating to Melbourne.
